Spoilers for Easter egg quest and playing a perfect game
1) The coded book pages read:
Hidden symbols lead to a treasury of magical knowledge. Secret signs can be used at the archive gate. Seek twelve inscribed symbols scattered throughout Shadowspire. Graven images hold the key to unlocking the vault of wisdom.
2) The locations of the twelve symbols are (jot them down, as they don’t go into the journal):
- West hall
- Helios room
- Amun Ra room
- East hall (2)
- Selene room
- Khonsu room
- Itzamna room
- Shangdi room
- Archives room (Golem painting)
- The Summit (2)
3) Enter the alternate symbols into the Summit Gate to get into the secret room.
4) In order to translate the secret coded books, put the Arcanum Amulet onto the page showing the amulet in each book and then read them by clicking on the pages. The book on the left will be very familiar to those who played The Cabinets of Doctor Arcana! Don’t forget to read the scroll on the table.
The vast majority of the game secrets are obtained just from finding all the puzzle clues and scrolls, but there are a couple of sneaky ones easy to miss in the Sanctuary up on the walls, in case you still don’t have all 35 secrets.
Do not press the Hint button (it’s pretty useless anyway), don’t skip puzzles, and don’t get “killed” by any of the death trap puzzles. If you found all the artwork, journal entries, and secrets, you’ll be a Mysterium Master in your “diploma”.
